CURE ON WHEELS MAIN EVENT
MAY 29-31, 2009
WHERE:  ST. LEO UNIVERSITY, ST. LEO, FLORIDA

DESCRIPTION:
Cure on Wheels, Inc. is an organization dedicated to raising money through cycling to both help find a cure for cancer and assist families affected by cancer until a cure is found.  The Cure on Wheels main event takes place over the entire weekend of May 29-31, 2009 at St. Leo University in the beautiful terrain around San Antonio, FL.  The event is a bike-a-thon format where riders are asked to commit to a fundraising minimum in an effort to make a significant difference in the fight against cancer.

Riders of all levels can choose between one day rides on Saturday of 25, 60, or 105 miles; or two-day rides of 85, 120, or 165 miles. The ride is fully supported with bike mechanics and SAG stops approximately every 15-20 miles. Furthermore, the organization has arranged for riders to stay at the dorms of St. Leo University the entire weekend in order to be able to participate in an inspirational program and dinner on Friday night to kick off the festivities.  Furthermore, when riders return on Saturday afternoon they will be treated to food and entertainment the entire afternoon and into the evening, including comedians and bands.

Registration will open for the Cure on Wheels main event in January 2009 through our website,
www.cureonwheels.org.
